Specialists in the manufacture of high quality printed circuits, Palmer Aero Products Limited, of Camberley, Surrey (a B.T.R. Industries subsidiary), have announced an entirely new method of manufacturing plated‐through‐hole circuits. This new Palmer ‘thru‐plate’ technique has its first major application in the joint Anglo‐French supersonic airliner project, Concorde. In conjunction with Elliott‐Automation Limited, Palmer circuits are to be used on many of the aircraft's automatic flight controls, including the automatic pilot, throttle, stabiliser and trim systems, and the flight director and take‐off direction systems.
