No. 40 of the year 1933. A case has occurred of failure of the rubber‐canvas air reservoir for a pneumatically operated wheel brake system. To safeguard against the possibility of similar trouble, or at least to restrict damage occurring in the event of a cylinder bursting, one of the following alternative courses is to be adopted:—
