Summary of sessions

This section of the Congress is aimed at appealing to engineers who are concerned with design as well as those who are responsible for design education. It aims to inform and to stimulate.by involving Che majority of che participants in working actively cowards a sec of worchwhile recommendacions for further action.

The first session of this section of the Congress will be in the form of a keynote address given by Professor Edmund Happold of the University of Bath, who will outline the objectives of this section of the Congress and thereafter go onto discuss the advances and problems associated with the teaching of design.
