Vaughan 'Undrained behaviour of brecciated Upper Lias

Clay at Empingham Dam'. Our first question is, in the light

of back-analysis of the behaviour of the Upper Lias Clay at

the site, what site investigation techniques would the authors

recommend in similar situations?
