DR. J. BRASZ, TNO, Hengelo, Netherlands: Did you perform similar simulation studies as described in Paper 29 at part-load conditions? If you did, I would be interested to hear if the same control scheme, with the same parameter values for the controller settings (PID-values) also gave satis factory control behaviour at part-load conditions. In our control experiments with the 50 MW helical coiled steam generator under once-through con ditions we found a need for adaptation of the controller parameters when changing from full load (100%) to part-load (30%) conditions.
