Changing demographics requires higher education and student affairs (HESA) professionals to support diverse students. We discuss the educational contexts that shape a graduate preparation program, our efforts to integrate social justice and equity-oriented values, and the processes of (re)designing curriculum, programs, and services to support diverse students and emerging professionals in the California Central Valley.
