A geologic and geotechnical study was carried out to define a stabilization design for a landslide near Campegli (Genoa - Italy), that affected a pipeline. The project involved small diameter wells (0 200 mm), provided with submerged motor-driven pumps, and a drainage trenches system. The work was carried out in 1987. The monitoring of the area consisted of piezometers, inclinometers and strain-gauges on the pipeline. The monitoring data and some remarks on the job are presented.
