In rapidly changing environments, organization agility can be a source of survival and also competitive advantage. In this chapter, we demonstrate how two methods developed in the USA and in Europe—Self Design and SEAM, helped organizations to continually develop and reinforce their agile performance either by keeping pace with changing conditions or by identifying and reducing organizational dysfunctions and the ensuing hidden costs. Using two mini case studies, we illustrate how the two methods were applied and outline the results that were obtained and sustained.
