This chapter formulates a conceptual framework for a competence learning field, from an environmental scan of the educational, professional, social science, and psychological perspectives. This conceptual framework frames the meta-structure of a unified quantum learning field, which promotes, enhances, and expands the understanding, performance, and awareness needed to be intellectually, emotionally, and situationally aware of the expectations of professional and individual competence. This framework will be used to model the articulation and configuration of the learning system to reflect the structure and alignment of competence.
