The paper describes implemented research on determination of suitable mix design of C 16/20 concrete. This concrete should be used for production of mine reinforced concrete casing. All aggregate were replaced with solid blast-furnace and steel slag. Required strength after one working shift - 8 hours - was 10 N/mm2. There were researched two types of curing: one in Regime of accelerated hardening by steam curing - and another without any curing. There was find out suitable mix design with the use of CEM I 52,5 R, plasticizing and accelerating admixtures and in the case of steam heated concrete CEM II BS/32,5 R, plasticizing and accelerating admixtures.
