Negotiation plays an important role in our lives as well as in business contexts. Organizations have become considerate that the best negotiators are those who can create and assert value simultaneously. In other words, they are competitors as well as collaborators.1 The qualities that enable us to come to agreements and settle conflicts with other parties are known as negotiation skills.2 Negotiation is a global competence that encompasses various dimensions such as business, personal, and organizational. Effectiveness in negotiation is not only advantageous, but it also overcomes the opportunities lost due to incompetent negotiation. Negotiation skills are essential to be able to build strong personal as well as professional relationships.3 The necessity for negotiation skills has been powered by the present interest in industrial relations.4,5
