Abstract
Organisations should recognise the significance of ethical issues in IT purchasing to minimise the damaging effects of their operations on the environment. The usage of technology has considerably contributed to environmental deterioration. This research has examined the difficulties of performing ethically based on maintaining corporate governance. It has also identified the use of technology and ethics that helps to enhance sustainability to stabilise corporate governance. The theoretical framework and model help to understand the ethic and governance of corporate. The role of technology makes an impact on the companies. The use of technology in governance of corporate helps with the privacy for stockholders. This research discusses technological performances and how they create hazard in the ethical issues in different sectors. It focuses on the role of technologies to maintain corporate governance and ethics. The use of technology in ‘corporate governance’ has represented a potential development to develop the ‘decision-making process’ and enhance transparency to promote accountability. It is essential to note that corporate governance has been able to cover the various areas of ethical behaviour, environmental awareness, risk management and so on. The application of technology to corporate governance has an opportunity to enhance accountability, boost transparency and enhance decision-making. By automating the numerous administrative duties, for instance, electronic systems and instruments can lighten the strain of executives and directors and free up their time to do more strategic work.
