This paper deals with the development of a theoretical model for the transport of multichemical species in unsaturated soil, including the effect of complex geochemical reactions. The numerical solution for the governing differential equation and the chemical interaction equation is briefly discussed, including the coupling between the transport and the geochemical model. An isothermal advection-diffusion and geochemical interaction problem is solved to demonstrate the capabilities of the model. The results show the ability of the model to predict the transport of chemicals, including the effect of sorption.
