Tourism as a multidimensional socioeconomic phenomenon directly affects the lives of individuals and contributes to the national economies of states. The modern trend for healthier lifestyles allows people to combine travel experience with the motivation to heal and restore their health. In this context, medical tourism can be described as the sum of all the positive results expected from a trip, which is carried out primarily for treatment with the use of medical intervention services, while combining kinds of holiday. In particular, medical tourism is the provision of specialized medical care by certified medical centers to domestic or foreign tourists staying in an accommodation in a touristic destination.
