C. A. TUNLEY, Yorkshire Water I think the industry has made quite remarkable progress, in many fields, in recent years and feel that future developments can proceed from a reasonably strong base.
I would like to reinforce the points made by Mr Burgess on people involvement. It is easy to view the involvement of a wide range of people in the specification, development, implementation and subsequent management of advanced technology projects as a project overhead which can be cut. This involvement is very necessary and needs to be recognized in project plans and resource allocations.
I would also like to ask the Authors and in particular Mr Rouse the following questions.
