In the first part of paper, selected results of preliminary investigation of polymer cement fibre reinforced concrete (PC-FRC) are shown and discussed. On the base of obtained results of compressive strength and modulus of elasticity above all, optimal mix proportion of PC-FRC was chosen, which was used for replacement of deteriorated upper part of concrete highway bridge decks in Slovenia. In the second part, results of quality control tests (workability, air content of fresh PC-FRC, and compressive strength, modulus of elasticity and post-crack behaviour or crack opening resistance) and correlation between obtained results are discussed. Air content increased during transport of fresh PC-FRC from the concrete plant to the site. Therefore, compressive strength and modulus of elasticity moderate decreased, though they met required values.
