About the Authors

Shaila Arman is an Institutional Research Analyst at Centennial College where she is involved in gathering and analyzing data to support the college’s decision making and strategic planning. Before joining with Institutional Research Office at Centennial, she worked with Center for Global Citizenship Education and Inclusion at Centennial College where she was involved in three major research and evaluation projects, which investigated the impact of the college’s Signature Learning Experience (SLE) on students and evaluated faculty perspectives on the efficacy of the implementation process of SLE. In her earlier career in international health sector, she worked in developing, coordinating, and evaluating various heath projects in developing countries. Shaila has presented her research work in various international and local conferences and has published a book chapter as first author and multiple per reviewed journal articles as co-author in past 10 years. She completed her master’s degree in Anthropology and Post-Graduate Certificate in International Development.
