About the Editors

Dr William McGovern is an Associate Professor of Marginalised Communities at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle. William has taught professional and academic courses for over a decade as a Senior Lecturer and he has published collections of work on Safeguarding Children in Educational Contexts and Drugs, Stigma and Identity. William is also an Activist and advises organisations and institutions in relation to Patient Involvement and Community Engagement.

Dr Aidan Gillespie is Senior Lecturer in Education at Leeds Trinity University. Prior to working in Higher Education, Aidan was a primary school teacher working in urban and rural settings in Lincoln, London, and Kent. His research interests are focused on spirituality and the place religion occupies in the public and academic spheres. He was Programme Lead for the Professional Doctorate in Health, Education and Society at Northumbria University.
