Dr Hayley Alderson is a Senior Research Associate for the North East North Cumbria Applied Research Collaboration and is an Embedded Researcher within Children and Families Social Care in the UK. Her research has a strong commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

Craig Ancrum is an Ethnographic Researcher and Senior Lecturer and has published in the fields of UK drug markets, interpersonal violence in criminal enterprises and crime identity and consumerism. He has previously published on using biographical methods in teaching in HE.

Dr Christina Cooper is an Assistant Professor in Community Wellbeing at Northumbria University. Her research interests lie in inclusion and social justice, specialising in life course understandings of health inequalities, particularly housing and homelessness. Christina’s lived experience directly informs her research and teaching, underpinned by pedagogies of vulnerability and shared learning.
