As technology evolves, hotels leverage AI to optimise operations, sparking discussions on its impact. Despite benefits, AI adoption raises concerns about employee turnover, job insecurity, and altered perceptions of support. There is a lack of empirical studies on hospitality employees’ awareness of AI implications in the academic literature. This study will fill this gap by examining the relationship between hotel AI adoption and employee turnover. Taking a positivist approach, it collects data through questionnaires from full-time employees in a five-star hotel in Malaysia to provide new insights into this area.
