What is the longest length of fuel pin which can be neutron radiographed in one exposure?
What is the sensitivity of neutron radiography to the detection of hydride patches in Zircaloy cladding, assuming the UO2 fuel to be present?

With the R2-0 facility^ the maximum size is 40x106mm; with the new facility, 75x400mm.
This is rather difficult to answer exactly, but
I would estimate somewhere between 0.5 - 1mm
diameter and 0.1mm deep sunbursts could be
detected.

What are the conditions of x-raying fuel elements,
i.e. kilo voltage, anode current, cooling time of fuel? How is gamma fogging eliminated, as apparently no moving slit is employed?
