FIRE INSTRUCTIONS
A PERSON DISCOVERING A FIRE SHOULD:
1. Raise the alarm: By operating the nearest 'break-glass' alarm call point
2. Dial 3333 on internal telephone network
Dial 0800 525 790 on payphones (This payphone call is free). DO NOT dial 999
3. Give the following information
• The name of the person calling
• The exact location of the fire
• The type of fire if known (i.e. furnishings, fuel/oil, fats etc)
4. Do not hang up until the operator has repeated your message correctly
5. Attempt to fight the fire, if safe to do so, by using the appropriate fire extinguisher supplied
