First page of Making Sense of my Pandemic Teaching Narrative Through Podcasting

The calendar year of 2020 was a time of upheaval, uncertainty, and change for folks around the world. With my family, we had already put some major life changes into motion prior to the lockdowns that spring. My second daughter was born on March 13, 2020. Later that same day, the school district in which my wife and I both taught in Northwestern Illinois called to inform us that we would be transitioning to remote instruction a few days later. From the distance of parental leaves of absence, we watched as our colleagues worked tirelessly to prepare physical and digital learning materials to make it to the end of the 2019–20 school year.
