This chapter draws from the collaborative insights of two higher education thought leaders with theory to practice expertise across both student conduct and conflict management, and strategic human resource and diversity management. Together we advocate for the incorporation and expansion of restorative principles and practices in education and business to help people better manage and resolve disputes. We believe in the power of early prevention and appropriate conflict intervention at the lowest and most effective levels, in ways that build stronger relationships and more inclusive communities. Our shared perspectives on restorative justice are inspired by our commitment to helping organizations give everyone a voice while achieving common goals.
