Over the past few years, podcasting has become an increasingly popular tool to facilitate learning in educational settings (McNamara & Drew, 2019). Podcasting in education has proven to be a diverse practice, taking many forms and serving many purposes. In higher education, professors have used podcasts to record and share lectures with students (Forbes, 2011), review and clarify concepts (McKinney, Dyck, & Luber, 2009), and as a medium to assess learning (Dawkins, 2021). In K–12, teachers have used podcasts to facilitate students’ vocabulary retention (Borgia, 2009), create new opportunities for students to engage with book authors (Vandenberg, 2018), and extend student learning (Hew, 2009).
