The COVID-19 crisis brought increasing recognition of the numerous, shared, global challenges that face humanity. It is critical we cultivate the requisite human capabilities required to lead change around the world. In this chapter, because we share these complex, interconnected global challenges, I argue that higher education institutions have an increasing responsibility and role to play in influencing positive change through the promotion of leadership-oriented educational programs. I suggest higher education’s role lies in developing the leadership capabilities that are essential for transformational and “integral” change. Thus, this chapter centers on the question: How can we better prepare global leadership who can advance an integral agenda?
