Chapter 8: Where are they Now—what do they Say About then?: The Larger Community Weighs In

Unable to do in-person focus groups that we had planned for parents, graduates, and former teachers of CWS prior to the pandemic school closing, we regrouped, and did them by Zoom. We also reached out to graduates and parents of the school who responded by email sharing their memories of their days at CWS. These conversations and written responses have yielded valuable information from the folks who know the school very, very well. Their memories still linger. Hear now their thoughts about and memories of their experiences during their time at CWS—what continues to stand out for them, what their takeaways have been, and in what ways that experience mattered for them when they were no longer at the school.
