Throughout the years education has undergone many changes. Educators strive to keep up with new pedagogical practices, changing student behavior and technologies. The World Wide Web has greatly increased the speed at which technology has changed the way students learn and provided new opportunities for incorporating active learning into instruction. Many instructors are using Web 2.0 tools for in-person and online settings.
