This is a qualitative study concerning the motivational factors and obstacles for Asian bilingual credential students to enter teaching profession, obstacles for them to finish the credential program, and some effective recruitment and retention strategies of these Asian bilingual teaching credential students based upon the interviews of 10 Asian bilingual credential students ata California State University. This study identified someeffective strategies to recruit and retain Asian bilingual credential students.
