One of the issues facing American and French partners concerns the best way to transfer knowledge of the SEAM process. This presentation is a sharing of our lessons from implementing SEAM in the United States based on our work with two companies in the last year. Vincent Cristallini is in charge of the transfer of this knowledge and helped us understand the nuances of SEAM process.
Alla Heorhiadi and I learned about SEAM in 2006 in a conference at ISEOR in Lyon. We went to two more conferences and were sufficiently fascinated with the approach that we took the English seminar in 2009. It was difficult to learn SEAM if you don’t speak French, and we talked a lot about how to learn and teach SEAM in the United States.
