In this chapter, the author reflects on her attempts to balance family, career, and health with obtaining a doctoral degree. Despite major setbacks in the form of breast cancer and divorce, amongst other challenges, the author still blesses her life circumstances and looks to the future where women educators might receive the additional support they need to more successfully balance their multi-faceted lives.
