In the autumn of 1991, the nation of Cambodia began its current era of peace building. After decades of domestic and international struggles, this small southeastern Asian nation actively began the process of rebuilding, redefining, and rejuvenating its political, social, cultural, and educational systems. Today Cambodia continues to grow at an impressive rate. One highly publicized national priority is the development and adoption of information and communication technology. Various ministries within the Cambodian government are actively working with both national and international partners to address the unique needs facing this nation as it attempts to move into a technologically driven 21st century.
