Is there an unconscious core values system within each person, a compelling imperative, that directs an individual to search for environments in which she or he can experience a state of mattering and an awareness of purpose across career-life roles? Does this core values system also facilitate discovering one’s calling(s) and making wise work role choices? Are practitioners willing and prepared to have conversations with clients that accurately portray career as career-life, a movement inspired journey of progress, encompassing multiple life roles, all of which involve some aspect of care or a caring experience throughout the life span, and all of which are influenced by values choices? How can unconscious values be extracted to assist an individual to successfully navigate her or his career-life journey and contribute to an individual’s health and wellness?
