This syllabus is for one of the courses leading to a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas (satisfies requirements in Missouri and Oklahoma as well). Upon completion of the degree, recipients may petition the state for their building level (principal) certificate.
Our 36-hour program is divided roughly into thirds with this course embedded at the end of the second third of the course work sequence. The course is typically offered in the spring to a cohort of 20 students who have already completed a curriculum development course offered in the first third of the program.
