This endorsement consisted of two classroom-based courses including Research-based Practices in Middle Level Education and Middle School Curriculum, and two field-based courses, a practicum and student teaching. Within a year this undergraduate program was extended to graduate students pursuing the masters of education degree or professional development credit.
