Everyone has his or her own journey in his or her life. Everyone has a unique story of the journey. This story is about John. John is not his real name. He does not go by the name John in Chinese; His Chinese name is hard to pronounce for his fellow Americans. He is known as John amongst his American colleagues and friends, but he keeps his real Chinese name amongst his Chinese colleagues and friends.
John was born in a small countryside village, about 15 miles away from Danyang city located in Jiangsu province, P.R. China. When he was young, there was no modern transport in the village. There were no buses or bicycles. There was no electricity and running water. Life was simple and Spartan.
