The microexperience method is an unconventional approach to develop leader capacity that blends experiential learning, micro-learning, on-the-job training (OJT), and action learning in a new way. Early evidence supporting the impact and scalability of microexperiences is encouraging but scarce since usage has been relatively rare in practice. This chapter equips program designers with the basic ingredients for experimenting with microexperiences to enhance program outcomes and strengthen the research about their effectiveness.
