9: Culturally Responsive Leadership for Twice/Tw(y)ce Exceptional Students in the Midst of Dual Pandemics

The COVID-19 Pandemic coupled with the racial, civil and social unrest of 20/20 culminated in an unprecedented amount of emotional, political and physical stress and chaos. America’s teachers and students endured a significant amount of uncertainty and turmoil. During my career, I have served as a coordinator for two US Army early childcare centers in a small town, (BadKreuznach) in Germany. I led a team of seven undergraduate students for approximately three months in an (NGO) non-governmental organization volunteer mission in Ghana, West Africa. I served as Pod Leader while teaching 5th grade boys for 3 years in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
