2: Zoom Out to Zoom in Globally: Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy in Professional Development for Literacy Educators

Collaborative professional development (PD) aims to enhance the quality of literacy instruction and learning through a lens of empowering educators in their local setting via culturally sustaining pedagogy (CSP). Over several decades and multiple countries, a cascade of collaboration was gifted to the two authors, both teacher educators with extensive K‑12 experiences.
