Abstract
This study investigates the intricate relationship between job satisfaction, employee engagement (EE), and employee innovation within the Information Technology (IT) industry. The primary objective is to identify factors influencing these dimensions while uncovering the obstacles that hinder their growth and synergy. A quantitative research methodology was employed, using standardized surveys to gather data from IT employees across diverse roles and experience levels. The collected data were analyzed through descriptive and regression analyses using SPSS-22, providing insights into the relationships among job satisfaction, EE, and innovation. The findings indicate a strong, positive correlation between EE and job satisfaction in the IT sector. Engaged employees exhibit higher levels of job satisfaction, greater productivity, and stronger organizational commitment. Key drivers of engagement include opportunities for skill development, recognition of achievements, and alignment between personal and organizational values. Leadership quality and effective communication emerged as critical enablers of engagement. Conversely, barriers such as misaligned values and insufficient recognition were found to impede engagement and innovation. The study underscores the strategic importance for IT organizations to prioritize EE and innovation. Practical recommendations include fostering a culture of recognition, enhancing leadership quality, and ensuring alignment between organizational goals and employee aspirations. Such initiatives can lead to improved job satisfaction, higher employee retention rates, and enhanced overall organizational performance. This research adds value by deepening the understanding of the complex interplay between EE, innovation, and job satisfaction in the IT industry. It highlights the significance of an engaged and motivated workforce as a crucial asset for achieving sustained organizational success.
