The purpose of the present research was to investigate the presence of the fundamental principles of social justice presented by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in the policy of the National Archives of Iran and to provide suggestions to other archive centers of Iran. This research’s quantitative approach uses document study and quantitative content analysis to collect data. Our findings showed that the fundamental principles of social justice presented by UNESCO in the policy of Iran’s National Archives can be divided and presented into these groups: equality, including equal access to national records, National Archives as the historical memory of all Iranian people, equity including equal and maximum services in collecting record, equal and maximum services in information dissemination, infrastructure development, equal and maximum services in record organization, equal and maximum services in record preservation, rights including compilation and approval of laws, participation including records sharing, attracting people’s participation in archival activities, holding joint programs with various organizations and associations. Observing the four principles mentioned together will bring social justice to the National Archives of Iran and complement each other.
