While international enrollment in the United States has nearly rebounded to pre-pandemic levels, the landscape of international education has significantly changed. This chapter explores the evolving terrain of international education within American higher education institutions in the post-pandemic era, specifically focusing on addressing international students’ academic and career needs. Drawing from firsthand observations and research by frontline advisors, it examines the impact of the pandemic on students’ demographics, academic performance, and career aspirations.
