This study explored how accommodation establishments in the Braj region of India contributed to the growth of the tourism industry. This study used a descriptive method to understand how the accommodation sector in the Braj region contributed to the local economy. A comprehensive examination was conducted through interviews with 20 accommodation establishments situated in the Mathura and Agra districts of Braj region of Uttar Pradesh, India. The study explores the impact of these establishments on various variables, including income generation, employment opportunities, entrepreneurship, infrastructural development and overall quality of life. The findings reveal a positive trajectory in both revenue and expenditure rates since the inception of the accommodation sector in the area. Notably, respondents indicate that many have successfully covered their regular expenses through funds generated from their accommodation ventures.

The study further highlights the positive influence of accommodation businesses on the financial situations and living standards of the proprietors. This research contributes to the understanding of the economic dynamics of the accommodation sector in Braj, India.
