The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been agreed globally in an unprecedented, ambitious and innovative agenda for prosperity and peace for people and planet (United Nations, 2015). What is currently missing is a roadmap for achieving the paradigm shift to achieve the SDGs. This monograph provides a roadmap with A Blueprint for Character Development for Evolution (ABCDE) for the paradigm shift to achieve the SDGs. The book focusses on Education Policy as a road map to achieve SDG 4. This is not about responsiblising the teaching profession to achieve the SDGs that is neither desirable or not possible. The focus is on education policy that provides curriculums with Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) to empower citizens to understand their duty mapped to rights and responsibilities.
