Infrastructure assessment, monitoring, and management have become all the more challenging and critical as it involves systems in expanding dynamic state that keeps on accommodating new physical facilities within the existing built environment. Being a labour-intensive sector, the Construction industry has to overcome disruptions in the defined processes, resolve safety issues, and meet other productivity challenges. The industry needs efficient and innovative solutions to increase the production and quality of work. Due to the rapid growth of infrastructure and development in the developed countries, many of these countries have shifted from the traditional construction procedures to manufacturing prefabricated components in workshops and then they assembled on site (Mahbub, 2012).
