While the literature review was discussed and analyzed in the previous chapter, and the research gaps were identified, this chapter focuses on formulating the research question and hypotheses. It provides a detailed description of the research methodology used to test these hypotheses, build the samples, and collect the data.

From the perspective of keeping it concise, researchable, and relevant, our initial proposed research question was:

What is the role of knowledge dynamics and cultural intelligence in developing multicultural leadership?

After the first results of qualitative research, the question was reframed and also linked to the organizational context (OC), as a tone setter for the work environment, which can either support or hinder ML practices.
