Photography can be an intentional lens used to facilitate observation and capture moments demonstrating leadership. Undoubtedly artists embrace the role observation and reflection play in identifying, capturing, and framing the concepts and themes they explore in their artwork. This activity is an opportunity for participants to be the artist, identifying, reflecting on, and capturing the leadership moments in their daily life. In the process of developing a leadership gallery, and artist statements, participants rely on reflection for making meaning and translating the images of leadership they experience in their communities.
Learning Goals: Participants will have opportunities to:
Materials: either disposable camera, digital camera, or phone with camera, paper, access to a printer or print-shop, painters tape, tacks, method of hanging the images for the gallery, and a method for journaling— notebook, digital tool
