This chapter puts forward a model of faculty training based on constructive alignment and Bloom taxonomy. Its novelty lies in the blend of learning sciences and game-based learning approaches. The faculty development model relies on an instructional design game through card sorting and storytelling from University of Côte d’Azur, France. The card sorting game includes four categories: teaching and learning activities, assessment activities, resources and technological tools. The game aims at increasing faculty awareness of student engagement and adapting, if necessary, their planned activities to effectively promote deep learning. The faculty are invited to reflect on and incorporate both teacher and student perspectives.
