The purpose of this chapter is to share my personal experiences as an art educator and shed light on art and education reforms. My curiosity about fine art resources began when I landed my first job as an art educator in 2012. A lack of financial resources forced me to revamp projects I once did as a student. Throughout my graduate studies, the idea of funding made me wonder who, or what, had the arts’ best interest in mind.
