Abstract
Drawing on themes of consciousness and cultural empowerment explored through chapters 6, 7, and 8, this final chapter outlines tri-faceted model of education centered on resistance, cultural memory, and collective uplift. Chapter 9 positions Historically Black Colleges and Universities as models of a music education that affirms identity, resists marginalization, and centers Black musical traditions in and beyond the curriculum.
